Course:
The Haystack Mountain Time Trials is a 16.8 mile event. The first section of the course on US-36 is flat with a slight rise leading into the turn onto Nelson road.
Nelson has a gentle downhill with tailwinds the norm. Expect speeds exceeding 30 mph on some sections. A slight rise on Nelson brings riders to the intersection with 75th around mile 10. 75th street, which becomes 73rd street presents riders with the challenge
of many medium sized rollers before the right turn onto Niwot road. Niwot and Neva roads to the finish are into the wind with a slight rise at the line.
