Course:
The Haystack Mountain Time Trials is a 16.5-mile event. The first section of the course on US 36 is flat with a slight rise leading into the turn onto Nelson Road.
Nelson has a gentle downhill with tailwinds the norm; expect speeds exceeding 30 mph on some sections. A slight rise on Nelson brings riders to the intersection with 75th around mile 10. 75th St. (which becomes 73rd St.) presents riders with the challenge
of many medium-sized rollers before the right turn onto Niwot Road. Niwot and Neva Roads to the finish are usually into the wind with a slight downhill at the line.
