Race Tire:
If you are looking for the perfect tire for the Niwot Criterium make sure to checkout the
Continental GS 4000s. Niwot Cycles will have them in stock in anticipation of this highly technical race course.
Course:
The Historic Niwot Crit is a front range classic. A flat, fast, and technical 1 mile course through downtown Niwot Colorado.
With 2 of the 7 corners sharper than 90 degrees, racers and spectators can expect an exciting day of racing full of breakaways,
shattered fields, and tactical moves. Come out and watch along 2nd ave. at one of the many resturants which line the finishing straight.

What if I don't have an Annual Cycling License?
You may still race in any of the following categories provided you purchase a 1 day ACA license for $10.
Senior Women's 4 (Beginner), Senior Men's 4 (Beginner), Senior Women's 35+, Junior (<18), Masters 35+/4 (35+ Beginner), Masters 35+, Masters 45+, & Masters 55+
Parking:
Parking will be located on the west side of the course along the diagonal highway(CO-119).
The only access to the parking area will be from the Diagonal Hwy. Please follow signs and parking marshalls instructions the day of the race.
Pace Car:
Provided by Gunbarrel Import Motors
Medical Suport:
We will have 2 PA's and a paramedic on site should you need their assistance.
General Rules:
The race is held under ACA racing rules. Helmets are required and must meet the ACA certification
requirements. The road will be closed to vehicle traffic.
Support:
There will be a wheel pit for riders should you need to replace a wheel during the race. Free lap rule applies except within 5 laps of the finish.
Rol Wheels will be providing neutral support.
Volunteer & Race Free:
If you would like to volunteer on the day of the race, please contact alan@gsboulder.com. All volunteers will be provided free
entry into our Niwot Criterium.
Free onsite Massage Therapist:
Edward Westhead, a former cyclist and current certified massage therapist will be providing racers, spectators, and volunteers with free 5 minute massages.
This should be a great way to recover post race or just get a sample of the services Ed provides in his Longmont office. Ed specializes in Orthopedic and
Sports massage and has worked for the Colorado Rapids professional
